Welcome to my world of Advanced Dungeons & Dragons (2nd edition)
To begin with, what is AD&D? Its a game created by TSR, a roleplaying game.....OH NO!! Not one of those evil satanic rpg's!! Its not one of those games that go and corrupt are childrens minds!! Well, if you believe what I just wrote, GO AND GET STUCK IN A VACUUM CLEANER, cuz you have the intelligence of a pieco of pocket lint! Why would people think this at all.....well....in these games, you are in a brand new world, one with magic and monsters and treasures. Also there are 'gods' many of them. And lastly they say the game promotes violence, rape, and destructive ideas. To answer this..... The world could just as easily be this one, the other worlds are just new and interesting. The game has 'gods' but never have I come across a player who actually worships their chosen deity, or even give them the respect they may give Him. (if they give the 'gods' any respect at all) Lastly the game allows you to do whatever you want. If the person is bad and wants to have a violent character then its the player, not the game, that dictates this. If you are a pacifist, you can play the game as a pacifist. In fact, the guidebooks tend to push the characters towards good alignments.
