I LOVE YOU
Okay, what is Montreat? Its HOME!! Its a place in North Carolina, a college, and it has Youth Conferences every summer. I was fortunate enough to attend one, titled 'From Here to There' (3rd week, summer of '97). It was the best week of my life, and during that time, Montreat became home. Anderson Auditorium (i can't spell...) was the living room, where all the family gathered to be with each other. Lake Susan was the den, you could find everybody around there. That cool ice cream shop was the kitchen, cuz I know I probably ate more ice cream than anything else...=). Assembly Inn was the was the place to be cuz thats where my best buddies (small group) met to have a great time. Without a doubt, Montreat, is awesome. God smiles on it every summer when the youth come to worship and praise Him.
My week, Maake Massanago (i KNOW i spelled that wrong) was our pastor. This whole paragraph is about you Maake. Your sermons were long, and sometimes dragged the point on forever, but I'm telling you, it wasn't that hard to stay awake, ;-). In fact, I got a lot out of your sermons, and you are, to date, the best person I've ever heard preach. Also, we sang 'This Little Light Of Mine' around the lake, and you sang it with some South African style! My group kinda laughed about it, but I tell you, it was pretty cool. Especially when I went to my friend's Youth Group, and we were singing 'This Little Light Of Mine' and I distincitly heard Maake's South African style in the back of my head. In made me smile, and laugh. Maake, your awesome, I hope someday I am able to see you again.
Okay, thats about all I'm going to put up for now, mostly because there is something else I'd rather do, not sure what though..... This page will soon be home to Montreat pictures!! AND, a whole page devoted to my small group. For now, au revior.

This is a group of people who I saw everyday at small group. They are some of the best people in the world, I love them all!!!
